Terms of Use

1. Parties and scope

These terms govern your use of the Güventur Veli Bilgilendirme mobile app (the “App”). The service provider is Cem Berke Akpınar, a sole trader trading as Güven Turizm (“Güven Turizm”).

The App is developed and operated by Webinen on behalf of Güven Turizm. These terms apply to every parent, driver, attendant and manager who uses the App.

The school bus (student transport) service itself is governed by the service agreement between the parent and Güven Turizm and by applicable law. The App is an information tool that supports that service; it does not change the rights and obligations arising from the service agreement.

2. The service

The App lets parents see the live bus location and estimated arrival time; sends trip start, approaching, boarding, drop-off and arrival notifications; lets parents report absences and contact the bus team; and lets the management team manage accounts, students and routes. Each user sees only the screens that match their role and the data they are authorised to access.

3. Accounts and password security

• There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by Güven Turizm’s transport management team and are issued only to people connected with the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential. Don’t share your password with anyone, and tell the management team immediately if you think someone else has used your account.
• Password resets, deactivation and account closure are handled by the management team.
• Please tell the management team about any changes so that your account details (such as your phone number or stop address) stay accurate.

4. Estimated arrival times

Please have your child ready a few minutes ahead of the estimate. Where exact timing matters, contact the bus team or the management team directly.

5. Location and notifications

Live location and notifications depend on an internet connection, on location and notification permissions, on device settings such as battery saver and Do Not Disturb, and on third-party notification infrastructure such as Apple’s and Google’s. A notification may therefore arrive late or not at all, and the location may update with a delay. The App does not replace direct contact with the bus team.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the App only for purposes related to the school bus service and only lawfully. In particular, you must not:

• use someone else’s account or try to access data you are not authorised to see;
• create false boarding, drop-off or absence records or notifications;
• use the note and message fields for insults, harassment, threats or content unrelated to the service;
• record or share information about other people that you see in the App (such as the bus location or other students’ details) for any purpose other than the service;
• try to disrupt the App, the servers or their security measures, reverse-engineer the App or collect data from it by automated means.

Drivers and attendants must follow traffic law while driving and must not use the App in a way that endangers road safety.

7. Intellectual property

The rights in the App’s software, design, name and logo belong to their respective owners. Provided you comply with these terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, service-related purposes. Map data and imagery are subject to the licence terms of their providers (OpenStreetMap contributors, TomTom).

8. Changes and interruptions

Features of the App may be improved, changed or removed over time. The App may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical faults or problems with third-party services. We try to announce planned interruptions in advance where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” to support the school bus service. To the extent permitted by law, Güven Turizm and Webinen are not liable for losses arising from estimated arrival times differing from actual times, from delays and interruptions caused by the internet, devices or third-party infrastructure, from users entering incorrect or incomplete information, or from a user failing to protect their password.

This limitation does not apply to liability for intent or gross negligence, to liability for death or personal injury, or to rights under mandatory law such as consumer protection legislation. Obligations relating to running the school bus service safely remain in full force under the service agreement and applicable law.

10. Suspension and closure

The management team may deactivate or close your account if the service relationship ends, if these terms are breached or for security reasons. You can ask for your account and data to be deleted by following the steps on the Account and Data Deletion page.

11. Personal data

Information about how personal data is processed is set out in the Privacy Policy and in the Turkish KVKK Aydınlatma Metni.

12. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, these terms apply in addition to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA); where the two conflict, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by law. These terms are between you and Güven Turizm; Apple is not responsible for the App’s content, maintenance or support.

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the App or the law. The current version is published on this page, and significant changes will also be announced in the App when appropriate. By continuing to use the App after a change, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute. Users who qualify as consumers keep their right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts under Consumer Protection Law No. 6502.
